I MISS BRETT. Who are we kidding? No offense to Aaron but the Packers and the NFL are more interesing with Brett than wihout him. I say bring him back in ANY uniform.

At times I think that ESPN hates the Packers. Why do I believe this? How many false Brett Favre rumors have they put out there the last couple weeks? They must know that they will all get overblown and people will overreact. Obviously this doesn't help Rodger's confidence if he has to keep looking over his shoulder to see if Brett Favre is coming back. It's not just Brett Favre though. They just seem to have a genuine distaste for the Packers. How often do they actually have a story about the Packers that isn't supposed to stir up a controversy? Not very often. What about the draft coverage where they seem to conveniently always go to commercial breaks during our picks EVERY SINGLE YEAR. If they could go to commercial break during our first rounders they probably would. It seems like over 75% of our picks are always missed because we are stuck on a commercial break.

The ESPN rant is over. As far as the rumor goes, I sure hope that it doesn't come true. Hopefully Brett will realize why he retired in the first place. If Brett comes back it will hurt the Packers no matter what way the situation goes. If he stays with the Packers Rodgers will either have to spend another year on the bench or he will demand a trade (which is much more likely in my opinion). If the Packers trade Favre the Packers are also hurt. Everyone will blame Thompson for driving Brett out of town. Rodger's performance will be continously compared to what Brett is doing with his new team. If Rodgers isn't playing better than Brett everyone will be upset and will take it out on Rodgers. Plus there is the fact that I don't want to see Brett play for another team.

Let's just hope ESPN is being their stupid selfs and messed this rumor up like usual because if it is true I think it is a lose-lose situation no matter what we decide to do.

The only way Brett Farve coming back would be perfect is if he went and played for the Vikings.
