What They Say

This is a post that will get updated as time goes by and more stuff comes up.

The Packers should not sign former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owen.  I’ve already said that.  But is everyone else saying?

OK, all those who think the Packers should go after Owens raise your hands. OK, those who have your hands up, bring them down and slap yourself in the face because it will never happen. Any thoughts on who will be the next team Owens destroys?

Green Bay: The Packers already have a strong situation at receiver with Greg Jennings and Donald Driver. Why risk that chemistry and production by adding Owens? More to the point, what about general manager Ted Thompson‘s approach suggests he would seek out a 35-year-old receiver? The Packers haven’t made an impact signing on the free agent market in three years, and it’s hard to imagine Owens changing that trend.
