TT and Brett are to blame. It’s a two way street. Maybe they should have just traded him to Minn. Hindsight is 20/20. Viking #3 is a moron and needs to stay on his lame “Viking Age” web site. That’s where the Brett Favre Droolers hang out. Don’t get me wrong, I love what Brett did when he was in the Green & Gold, but he is gone and we move on!

Favre has a lot left in him and, to be sure, his “enthusiasm” will come rushing back as soon as he is once again in the NFC North Division. NY was just a stepping stone to Minnesota. Last year was business… this time, it’s personal!!! Go Brett!!

why are all the GB fans crying about the possible signing in minne. You guys were the ones who traded him away last year. you should be happy everyone wins. you get your young QB who will lead you to 3rd in the div for another 2-3 years before you take over and Minne and chicago will acually have have a chance with proven QBs. Blame TT not Brett or Minne

PS: Since TT really didn’t want Brett around, and couldn’t wait for him to retire, why the sour grapes with the NY trade? If #4 is “old and washed up”, then why make his life miserable by not releasing him or agreeing to a Minnie trade?

The Pack didn’t have a shot at the playoffs last year, while the Vikes could have gone to the Superbowl with Brett, win or lose. If Favre gets another ring, he retires and everyone is happy…

Yet the irony is that the Pack would have gotten something better than a third round pick for Brett had they traded him to Minnie last year. Since NY released Brett, the Packers get nothing more for him! Maybe TT will learn someday that there are other ways to build a team other than the draft?!

Really? Brett has had shoulder problems for years, but the guy STILL has not missed a start in 17 seasons! If the right bicep hasn’t healed well, a simple arthoscopic procedure can repair the partially torn tendon. The rehab time will be short, maybe a couple to a few weeks. Regardless, Favre could be ready for preseason this year, a luxury that he didn’t have last season due the late summer trade to NY. Also, Minnie runs the West Coast offense, so the learning curve will be short.

I agree with Minnie management and coaching staff: Make Brett go to the minicamps and be a part of the team before they start preseason. Unfortunately, the chemistry was not there between BF and the Jets. The biggest piece missing in Brett’s game last season was adequate conditioning. No doubt it was a factor in his injury last year. So repair the arm, or strengthen it if OK, and get his butt into the gym AND attending all team meetings/camps!

BTW: Favre is only a couple years older than Warner and Collins, so age really isn’t an issue. The conditioning is the key if Brett is to make a legitimate comeback and give a contribution to MN.
