Favre Updates

The speculation from April has dragged long into May, with new reports from Ed Werder to Charley Waters to Who-In-God’s-Name-Is-That-Reporter coming in daily.  Shoulder surgery or no shoulder surgery?  Comeback or no comeback?  Fact is, Brett Favre is still not a member of the Minnesota Vikings and still retired.  For today.

I’ve been busy with other things that have prevented me from giving all of you updates on the Favre drama along with the Packers in general, but as I said before, he is still retired.

Today’s news on Favre: Werder reports that surgery on Favre’s shoulder is not imminent, as was originally reported.

Contrary to reports, Brett Favre does not have an appointment with Dr. James Andrews on Tuesday and doesn’t consider surgery on his partially torn biceps tendon to be imminent, according to a source.

So as of right now, Favre’s sitting back in Mississippi.  But that’ll change as soon as the next source comes out.

ok, lets say favre goes to minn. lets say he takes them to the playoffs, and takes out GB? lets say the impossible happens and the vikes win a SB with farve? what happens now to his legacy in GB. deos he come back to GB and have his #4 retired? does he go into the hall as a packer? well, at this point if he stays retired all that is still intact. if he goes and plays for minny 1 maybe 2 years, well all that now comes to question. what do you feel is more important to farve at this point in his life?
