Jclombardi talks about new pro bowler LB Matthews.
Green Bay’s rookie linebacker Clay Matthews became another Packers added to the Pro Bowl after Chicago Bears linebacker Briggs withdrew due to knee injury. Matthews was the first alternate for the Pro Bowl honor after getting 10 sacks for the 2009 NFL Season. He becomes the Packers’ first rookie to make the Pro Bowl since wide receiver James Lofton. The other Packers on the NFC Pro Bowl roster are safety Collins, QB Rodgers and CB Woodson (named a starter).
