I’ve always been a fan of the fashion of the NFL, team colors, uniform design and, of course helmets.
In addition to the traditional designs found with the old guard of the league … The Packers, the Colts, Giants, Eagles, Rams … There are also great designs like the Chargers, the Bengals, and the Chiefs.
However, there is one team’s helmet that I just can’t figure out … The Buffalo Bills … Talk about staggeringly ugly.
And if there was a chance for this team to make changes, it was this year as the team came out with a “new” design.
Sorry, but it looks to me like the hideous design of so many years past.
I just don’t seem to understand it … I mean, I get the buffalo logo … That’s a no-brainer … But what’s up with that red streak through the middle of the Buffalo?
Can anyone enlighten me on its significance?
Yes, there other teams with ugly, ugly uniforms … The Broncos, the Seahawks … But even they don’t come close to the ugliness of the Bills … If ugliness is a reason for lack of success on the field the Bills must be the poster child.
Am I the only one who sees this injustice in lack of style? Is it just me?
If not, then there must be others out there who feel that the design team in Buffalo must have gone out the night before they “Redesigned” the team’s uniform and helmet.
Clearly, their vision must have been blurred.
I pity all those teams that must play the Bills next season and every season from now and into the future.
Even those who designed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers uniforms awoke from their own boozy slumber and took an axe to that dreamcicle uniform. It’s time for it to happen with the design of the Bills uniforms and helmet.
Sooner than later, please.
