The Packers played nickel over 70% of the snaps last season. That means they had 3 CB’s on the field for those of you that may be confused. With the signing of Nnamdi we would have in MOP the best secondary ever assembled. Think about it Woodson, Asomugha, Williams, Collins, and Shields starting, then figure the talent we have backing them up. It would be HUGE if this happened, and I personally would love to see it.

Third,other than Woodson in 06′who are these FAs that TT dabbled in of this financial magnitude.

Theres FA and then theres FA and this one will pass by TT,willingly.

I wrote the Asomugha/Packers perfect fit article months ago intially. Then more recently after reading an article entitled something along the lines of “Asomugha to the Packers makes zero sense,” I wrote a rebuttal article.

Tarynfor 12 … gotta disagree with you on this. Though TT has always favored building through the draft, he has been known to dabble in free agency. I don’t see his going away from his main philosophy as a problem. If the Packers can afford it and if it’s going to make the team better, I would think he would certainly consider it. Remember when Reggie came to Green Bay, money was an important factor, but it was his gut feeling (actually a message from God) that pushed him to Green Bay. I guess we’ll just see what happens. What I would really hate to see is to have him sign with Detroit.

The options that adding Nnamdi would give the Packers would be incredible … I’m sure Capers would love to add a player like him to the arsenal … it would open a whole new defensive playbook for the team … and I would love to see Woodson playing safety … not only would it extend his career but he would be a force in the defensive backfield with his ability to punish receivers and cover the deep routes.

Nnamdi said he will take less-money to play for packers because he want to play with his good friend woodson… woodsoon will move to Safety with nick collins.. nnamdi will play cb with williams… shields 3rd guy still.. burnett and preprah will backup but will playing anyway.. woodson is all around positions cb,s,lb.. he can play… have u see he played lb last year? u should see that my friend know capers so well, capers told him that he will love to bring nnamdi to packers coz he will use many cb/ss to play often.. keep shut it down… nnadmi is the best cb shutdown than revis!!

Sorry,but I must disagree with Nnamdi coming to the Packers.As much as he may say he wants a championship team,the money TT will offer closes that door shut even IF we could afford his price.
Besides,after all TT has gone through to get his philosophy working and being accepted by the fans of Green Bay,will he now take or even consider initiating the start of it’s downfall,not a chance.
