Can it be said any better than this?

Mike Florio comes through again with this blistering condemnation of the process surrounding the CBA negotiations over the past 48 hours and in particular points his lonely eyes to Arthur Boylan looking for answers that we all want.

Why can’t this be resolved through human interaction, a look in the eye, a handshake and an understanding between people that their word is as good as their handshake.

The past two days have been a demonstration of where we have come and where we are going in this country. It’s not surprising that our political atmosphere is polluted with the same kind of mistrust and misunderstanding.

Check out the post at Pro Football Talk and keep the discussion going … we ARE turning our lonely eyes toward something, but we’re not so sure it’s a CBA agreement.

The second paragraph was enough for me to say, this agreement isn’t between two neighbors,a family member,a best friend or a small business with another having mutual benefits to gain.
In real business and regretfully in real life,a look in the eye, handshakes and any other type of humane acts of trust, ones word etc, doesn’t really exist or if and when offered to be honored, one side or the other, being the giver or acceptor of it has immediately implemented it’s take advantage plan.
Is this a horrible way to look at things yes but,it’s the realistic way to look at things in a devastingly dangerous game of BUSINESS.
Otherwise,no side of any agreement would utter the words,we got screwed,I learned a lesson,it won’t happen again, not this time if the parties involved ever really had a thought of keeping a word,a handshake etc.

Yes, reality sucks and it’s a shame this country has come to this … And why? Because of greed.
Btw, the worst people to do business with are family members, friends and the like! All I can say is that when attorneys are involved … The greed factor is increased 100 fold!
