NFLPA Executive Committee OKs deal – unanimously

It’s over … The CBA has been approved by the NFLPA Executive Committee … in fact, the vote of the committee got a unanimous thumbs up … something they were looking for before sending the vote on to the players of all 32 teams.

While it’s still not completed until the rank and file approve it, all they really need is 50 percent, plus one, to make it official.

How in God’s green earth will that not happen?

In addition, it’s being reported by Albert Breer of NFL Network that the 10 Brady plaintiffs have also approved the settlement.

Earlier today it was reported that Roger Goodell was en route to join NFLPA reps for a press conference that is being planned.

That’s a good thing. Though a compromise on both sides, this is a deal that’s going to offer labor harmony for 10 years, something that’s unprecedented in these times.
