Eagles win Asomugha derby at the end

I can’t believe this … I’m a Packers fan but I can’t see how the Eagles haven’t just leap frogged over all the frontrunners with the signing of Nnamdi Asomugha.

Where did this all come from? This afternoon … The last time I checked … The Eagles weren’t even in the running. That’s the nature of what has been one of the most incredible few days of movement in league history … It’s unprecedented what we’ve seen and this deal is the perfect capper!

All I can say is WOW!

I thought Ochocinco was a surprise and Reggie Bush and maybe even Kevin Kolb and Donovan McNabb to a certain extent …

… To name just a few among so many transactions …

I don’t even know where to begin in describing this past few days.

I will say that I might have gone insane in trying to follow the dizzying action this past week. As a Packers fan, the team’s inaction in free agency has been nothing short of boring. But we expected it, didn’t we?

We really didn’t expect Ted Thompson to go after Nnamdi? Did we?

So as the free agency “season” comes to an end and training camp gets under way, let’s all catch our breath and start watching the season unfold.

Congratulations to the Eagles. They certainly have a lot to live up to now.

And by the way, will there still be room for Asante Samuel?
