It was this kind of play, a first down dive to secure the Packers' win at home against the Lions, that helped build the legend of John Kuhn last year. Raymond T. Rivard photograph

Kuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhnnnnnnn back in the Packers huddle

So the Eagles landed Asomugha …

Well, we’ve got Kuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhnnnnnn!

Let’s see the Eagles fans come up with something that even closely resembles the Packers love-call they associated with Kuhn last year.

The newly-inked Packer brings his versatility back to the team that he helped resurrect from near oblivion last year when he moved up from his fullback position to play running back after Brandon Jackson failed miserably in the same role.

According to Tyler Dunne of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Kuhn will be around for awhile because he signed a three-year deal to stay in Green Bay. The deal, according to Kuhn’s agent, makes the fullback one of the highest paid in the league. Former Packer Vonta Leach is the top-earner as he signed a three-year $11 million deal … with $6 million of it guaranteed.

Kuhn caps a productive day for the Packers after following receiver James Jones back to Green Bay. Jones also signed a three-year deal to stay will the Packers.
