Lambeau Field expansion a win-win for Packers and fans

This is an artists' conceptual drawing of what the outside of the "new" Lambeau Field will look like.

The Packers just completed a press conference describing plans to expand Lambeau Field … It would add another 7,000 seats and enclose the south end zone … all at a cost of $130 million, which would be paid for without any taxpayer money and could include a stock sale.

This is a win-win situation. Whether you’re a Packers fan on the season ticket waiting list or a taxpayer, you cannot be happy about this proposal. It will enhance the Lambeau experience, but will also provide an enormous amount of new revenue to the team and the community. This decision is huge, not only for Packers fans throughout the state, but throughout the country and the world.

Take a look at the artists conceptual drawings and a rundown of the notes from the press conference by Bill Huber of the Packer Report
