As stated in the previous post, the Packers will release three players today … the first has come down the pike, and as expected it’s not a huge surprise.
The Packers just released the information – it’s as follows:
The Green Bay Packers released first-year WR Antonio Robinson. The transaction was announced Tuesday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.
Robinson, who signed with the team Jan. 20, 2011, was on the Packers’ practice squad for two playoff games last season.
Two more players will be released before the end of the day.
