Mark Murphy, Packers impress Forbes

Maybe you’ve seen this. Maybe you haven’t.

Published at Forbes.com, this is the type of exposure that makes the Packers what they are … A team that breaks the mold, a team that, despite working out of the smallest market in professional sports, is near the top not only in performance success, but in financial success.

Forbes interviewed Murphy (see video below) and had this to say about the Packers’ president:

“Had a long sit down with Mark Murphy, President and CEO of Green Bay Packers on Forbes SportsMoney on the YES Network. Found him engaging, intelligent and a straight shooter. In this video Mark and I discuss how the Packers are among the top one-third of NFL teams in revenue despite playing in the league’s smallest market.

“Most amazing number: The team generates over $300 in local revenue, on average, from each person in its metro area, by far tops in the NFL. That figure will go up after the team adds room for about 6,000 more fans at Lambeau Field.”

The video of Murphy’s interview is here …
