Mike McCarthy’s day-after press conference covers a number of Packers-related issues

Packers head coach Mike McCarthy held his day-after press conference this afternoon and touched on a whole slew of issues stemming from last night’s season-opening game and extending into planning for the coming week.

In addition to injuries, where he didn’t seem concerned about the arm injury to Nick Collins and the shoulder bruise to Tramon Williams, McCarthy talked about Randall Cobb, the practice schedule for the coming week, the experience of being on the “big stage” with the home opener, Woodson’s punch, tackling (and the lack thereof), field conditions, grading special teams and the reaction Aaron Rodgers had regarding questions surrounding off-season workouts.
