Though ever so slight, the Packers made a roster move.
It’s not earth-shattering news, but news nonetheless.
The Packers PR department released the following this morning.
PACKERS SIGN T CAMPBELL TO PRACTICE SQUAD,
RELEASE C/G FENAROLI FROM PRACTICE SQUAD
The Green Bay Packers have signed T Chris Campbell to the practice squad and released C/G Paul Fenaroli from the practice squad. The transactions were announced Tuesday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.
Campbell, a 6-foot-5, 328-pound first-year player out of Eastern Illinois, was on the Packers’ practice squad for 15 regular-season games and all four postseason contests in 2010. He was originally signed by Green Bay as a non-drafted free agent in April 2010. Campbell was with the team during the 2011 preseason but was released on Sept. 3. He will wear No. 69.
