Need we say more?

So, whose side is God on anyway?

We all know what Vince Lombardi said about God, family and the Green Bay Packers, and we all know just how right he was.

But I had forgotten that quote from St. Vincent until I was sent a link to a blog written by a fellow by the name of Gene Nicolet, a resident of the City of Green Bay.

Not only will you enjoy this one, you’ll probably laugh out loud.

And during this week when everyone is so serious about Sunday’s game between the Packers and Giants, this is a great way to put things into perspective. Win or lose, we can always fall back on our faith – the same belief system that carried us through the 70s, 80s, and early 90s when we thought that God had abandoned us.

But now that we’ve had more than 20 straight years of a winning tradition in Green Bay we understand why we are so lucky and why we are favored by the Man upstairs.

Take a few moments and read Mr. Nicolet’s take on the subject and remember it really is only a game …

But of course, it’s one that we certainly want our team to win.
