NFC North notes

Kevin Seifert, the ESPN blogger put together an interesting post about what officials from each of the NFC North teams have been saying during the early days of the NFL Scouting Combine.

You will find nuggets of valuable tidbits about the Packers, Lions, Bears and Vikings.

Of particular interest is the Vikings dealings in getting a stadium deal finalized. It sounds like a majority of the Minneapolis City Council would like to see the issue go to referendum – something that nearly everyone feels will be defeated.

The Bears officials are talking to Notre Dame wide receiver Michael Floyd and the Lions officials are talking about how to conduct their business without reducing Calvin Johnson’s cap number.

All this and more can be found at Siefert’s blog.
