Nobody can take away what he did for the Green Bay Packers and for the entire league. No matter what, he's still one of the best ... warts and all.

I won't be this or that eiher way how ever the outcome of Favres' number 4 retiring. But,I will interject a thought which should be considered heavily especially if what we perceive to occur over the next 1-3 years with Aaron Rodgers.

If Rodgers wins another SB whether this year or next hence encouraging yet to a stronger belief of possibly 2 more as he has the age and ability along side the entire ORG,the chant of the greatest Packer QB ever as to Favre would severely diminish and what ever frustration of deciding could become easily erased from the minds of the ORG and the fans in Packer Nation.

Lets not forget, when Rodgers wins two more SBs,Favre will just be coming up for HOF induction and that should be enough when compared to a 3 time Super Bowl winner in Rodgers.

I would think the best course of action would be to wait for the window of Rodgers domination an SBs to close somewhat before retiring one number, when it may become imperative to retire another the next day in football terms.
