I know as I type this words the lynch mob is forming while being read and that is fine as I believe in saying or typing what you feel.

Driver has been a great Packer but as usual, certain words are just too freely bantered about like the adjective 'elite' when talking QBs.The word 'great' is as loosely garnered to others. The problem is perspective and the inability of the fans which is understandable and more writers(professional) which should be less tolerable by their Editors.

Do I need to compile stats against Driver,no but,his catching yds is a huge product of his QBs and system and not 90% or more through talent alone.Would Driver had made any QB great or would he have been a little above average himself elsewhere.

Driver wanted to retire a Packer and has been awarded that opportunity and now says he wants to be in the Ring of Honor and his number retired also. There's a phase and many won't like the reference but.....'give a mouse a piece of cheese and he'll want a glass of milk'.Is Driver a mouse..no..but after the DWTS and manipulating a fan base and possibly the ORG for what I believe to be the wrong decision, has stepped into an 'ego' area, which many thought unavailable to Donald Driver.

I hope he retracts his words or puts them into a better context for the respect of his fans, writers,Org and most of all,for himself.
