Tailgating in Detroit? Check out this party

If you’re headed to Detroit for the Green Bay Packers’ next game against the Lions Nov. 18, you might want to pay attention.

The folks over at thepackmentality.com will be hosting a tailgate party that organizers are calling “epic.” If that description doesn’t want to make you stop by, I don’t know what will.

They will be offering “barbeque, kegs, Madden football, Packers trivia contests, Pack Mentality rally rags, two TVs, nothing but Packers fans as far as the eye can see and – most importantly – putting a beat down on the Lions in their own house.”

Sure sounds like a lot of fun to me – kinda wish I were going to be there.

Tickets are on sale online here and are $35 for the “Early Cheese Special” – due by Nov. 12. If you want general admission tickets, those will set you back $45.

So, what will that buy you? Well in addition to everything mentioned above, it will get you “all you can eat and drink – the best barbeque in Detroit and of course, Leinenkugel, Budweiser, BudLight & more!”

As with all events, volunteers are always quite valuable and the organizers of this event will certainly be interested in anyone who might want to volunteer.

Send an email at this address to put your name in as a volunteer.

Of course, you will need an address to get to the party. Here it is:

The Pack Mentality Detroit Tailgate

Located at Shelter 2 NW Quad

Eastern Market

2934 Russell Street, Detroit MI 48207

If, of course, you haven’t already, check out their website and their Facebook page. Great site.
