If you watched Saturday Night Live last night and laughed as hard as I did at the Justin Timberlake-hosted show, I got to thinking about his ties to Green Bay and the piece I posted here back when he and Jessical Biel were married.
You can see it below … it focuses on the time back in 2007 when the couple attended the Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears game that I attended. Though our connection to the same game is evident and I blew my chance of photographing the two of them on the sidelines, I still have to repost the post for those JT lovers who may have missed it.
Not only that, but it’s Sunday in the off-season and we’ve got to connect to football any way we can, right?
So, without any more words, we’ll just let the post speak for itself …
Timberlake And Biel Were At Lambeau In 2007 – So Was I
The major entertainment news of this week was the marriage of Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel. They were married in Italy. I wasn’t there.
So, why is that important on a Green Bay Packers website?
Because one of their first dates was at Lambeau Field. In 2007. Against the Chicago Bears. They were there. So was I.
You may have seen the short video clip of the two taking in the Lambeau experience along the sidelines with former Packers executive Andrew Brandt … well, I was there, too, but ashamedly didn’t get the shot of the lovebirds before they exited the field to head upstairs to enjoy the game in Brett Favre’s luxury box. I didn’t go with them.
More than likely, I was in the press room stuffing my face with the buffet offerings before i headed down to the field that warm early October night.
Not only did I miss the opportunity to catch some photos of Timberlake and Biel, but word has it that Ashton Kutcher and his former flame, Demi Moore, were also in attendance that lovely night.
I guess I was more in tune with the game, a loss by the Packers to the hated Bears. I remember James Jones fumbling twice in that game … big plays that helped give the game away.
There was no word from the box how the celebs reacted to the win.
I know how I reacted. I was there.
