Though certainly not as sexy as the announcement of the regular season schedule, today’s release of the Green Bay Packers preseason schedule signals at least another step toward the start of the real thing.
And if you’re looking ahead to one of the better matchups of that short prelude season, it’s got to be the Week three game when the Packers host the Seattle Seahawks in a nationally televised game on CBS – bringing back memories of last year’s “Fail Mary” play that had implications on both teams right up and through the NFL Playoffs.
The regular season schedule is set to be announced, we believe, sometime on April 16, but in the meantime, let’s chew on what we have available to us, thanks to the scheduling gods over the the National Football League offices.
