The top 20 - defensive players falling toward Packers

Here are your top 20 picks of tonight’s NFL draft. The top 10 was dominated by offensive linemen, followed by a bit of a mixture of defensive players, two offensive linemen and one quarterback in the second 1o picks.

The Buffalo Bills had the surprise of the second 10 by selecting EJ Manuel and leaving fellow QB Geno Smith in the green room.

The Chargers started the second 10 by selecting DJ Fluker out of Alabama, followed by the Raiders selection of CB DJ Hayden. The Jets came in with Sheldon Richards and the Panthers picked up Star Lotulelei and the Saints solidified their defensive backfield with Kenny Vaccaro.

The Bills picked Manuel, followed by the Steelers picking up Jarvis Jones and the Niners trading with the Cowboys to have a shot at Eric Reid – thus killing any of the talk of former Packer Charles Woodson going to SF.

The Giants reached at #19 with OT Justin Pugh and the Bears followed suit with OG Kyle Long – they were clearly picking for need.

What does it mean for the Green Bay Packers? Well, it means there are some defensive players – Sharriff  Floyd, Sylvester Williams, Matt Elam – falling their way. Will be interesting …

Stay tuned …
