Just recently I took a Saturday and traveled to Green Bay in order to take in the Lambeau Field Tour and the Packer Hall of Fame.
For any Packers fan or even a football fan, I would say this is a must-see and do. Not because I bleed green and gold, but because the tour and the Hall of Fame are experiences that one will not soon forget.
I learned things about Lambeau Field that I never knew. For example, because you cannot go on the actual field, the Atrium floor was designed to match the field. That way when you cross the goal line in the Atrium, it is the same as crossing the goal line on the field.
My favorite part of the tour was going through the tunnel and out into the stadium as crowd noise was pumped through speakers. The feeling was amazing.
The Hall of Fame is by far one of the richest museums I have ever gone through with all the splendor and history of the Packers. From the early beginnings, to the Lambeau Leap (which yes I did attempt successfully) and finally to the present, everything you can think of is there.
Words alone cannot do the trip justice. So enjoy the photos of the trip and I also want to recognize the Abrehart family who traveled all the way from Melbourne, Australia, to take in Lambeau Field and the Packer Hall of Fame. Some families go to Disney, but Packers families, we go to Lambeau.
GO! PACK! GO!
