Some of those players just won’t ever really take the steps necessary to translate. But there are others that do. It all starts in April – and that was no exception this year.

The Green Bay Packers have played a quarter of football so far … and this young, homegrown team has given opportunities to rookies at nearly every position. It is time to check in and see who is living up to expectations and who is still finding their way.

I don’t necessarily like speaking of “next year” only four games into the season but the depth we are finally gaining on the offensive line is pretty promising. With Bulaga back next year our tackle position should be the strength of our line a opposed to the weakness its been the last few years. I really like the young talent on the line, Barclay impressed me last year and continues to make progress. I’m looking forward to seeing their progression through the season and watching Lacy and Franklin progress with them.
