In addition to the many Green Bay Packers rookies making their first appearance of the season, it looks like fall will also make its presence known today at Lambeau Field when the Packers host the Cleveland Browns.

We’re getting to that time of year when we can really feel Earth tilting away from the sun. Fall is in full swing in the northern half of the U.S. creating unstable weather patterns. One day it can be 60 to 70 degrees and the next it can be down right cold.

Today’s  game in Green Bay will feature a classic fall Sunday afternoon. The high should be around 50 degrees with an 80 percent chance of showers. At kick-off it should be about 48 degrees with a 40 percent chance of rain. That chance of rain should increase throughout the game making for another variable to throw into the mix.

There have been many classic games at Lambeau Field that have featured terrible weather but we will save the terrible for December and January.

Wet weather can really influence the game and make or break a lot of teams come game time. Luckily, the Packers are a nasty weather team that is only getting more accustomed to challenges.

Sunday’s weather will give us the first look of the season into autumn at Lambeau Field.

… And for those who might be staying home and watching from the recliner, here is some pertinent information you might find useful.
