Lombardiave gears up for Packers vs. Bears with back-to-back podcasts

It’s a special week; it’s a special day; and it’s a special game when the Green Bay Packers play host to their longtime rivals – the Chicago Bears.

Not only do the Bears come to Lambeau Field with their new head coach, Marc Trestman, but they will face the Mike-McCarthy-led Packers in prime time tonight, Monday, Nov. 4.

With that said, there’s plenty to talk about today and tomorrow – and probably for the rest of the week.

That’s why we here at lombardiave.com will present a special half-hour pre-game podcast this evening starting at 5:30 p.m. CST. All you have to do to listen live is to click on over to blogtalkradio.com, search for the Green Bay Packers – the sports panel and click to give a listen.

Tonight and tomorrow's podcast will be hosted by Davey Miller

Tonight and tomorrow’s podcast will be hosted by Davey Miller

Hosted by our own longtime Packers expert and staff writer, Davey Miller, tonight’s panel will include lombardiave staffers Tim Thomas, Dan Dahlke and Kevin Dickens. They will be talking about what they expect to see from Lambeau Field tonight and providing their impressions on how things will shake out in the end. The program always ends with the panel’s predictions for the game – I suspect everyone will probably have the Packers as winning, but you never know – after all, it is the Bears.

And while tonight’s show should be a great precursor to the game, we here at lombardiave.com will also be hosting our regularly-scheduled Tuesday morning podcast at 8:30 a.m. CST.

Miller again will host the post-game show, which will most likely include staffer and lombardiave.com intern Dan Turczynski and yours truly, as well as at least one more staffer yet to be determined.

As always, the Tuesday show will be dedicated to a review of the previous game and a look ahead to next week’s game – this time the Philadelphia Eagles.

So, all we ask is that you take 30 minutes of your time and head on over live, if you can.

However, you should also know that these podcasts can be heard at any time of the day or night, 24/7, in the event you can’t make it to the live broadcast.

And if you are interested in hearing last week’s show, you can click here.
