Tramon Williams is the only one playing for the Packers, it seems.

  • Dan Turczynski

    Tramondous game for Tramon tonight

    • RayRivard

Dan, ahahahaha. I didn’t see your play on words there. Very clever.

  • RayRivard

Looks like it’s N.Y. Giants vs. Tramon Williams. Anybody else going to step up?

  • RayRivard

Why can’t the Packers wrap up like the Giants tackle?

  • RayRivard

That was a hell of a catch and run

  • RayRivard

Jordy kind of swatted the defensive back away

  • RayRivard

Oh my, oh my. Great call, but then you have a ball carrier who falls down six inches short of the sticks? Really?

  • RayRivard

Brad Jones with the wrapup. Let’s get a three and out, please

  • RayRivard

Seems the defense is starting to pick their hitting up a bit. Do you think the urgency is setting in?

    • Mike Charron

      No !

  • RayRivard

This Packers team is far from the team that began the season. Six points today?

    • Mike Charron

No Arod no Team, since Arod is the team. Not sure how much the rest of the team gets paid but – they ain’t worth it.

  • RayRivard

The Bears suck … they win in OT

    • David Burdette

Yay for having Gould on my fantasy team.

  • Dan Turczynski

    Need a stop

  • Dan Turczynski

    Giant want it more

  • Dan Turczynski

    Giants*

  • Dan Turczynski

    Just a joke

  • RayRivard

This Packers vs. Giants game is really, really difficult to watch. I feel like I’m living the 1980s all over again.

  • RayRivard

How soon before the chants for Dom Capers’ head begins?

  • Dan Turczynski

Don’t know how much more of this season I can stomach.

  • Mike Charron

Mike McCarthy is an Aaron Rodgers injury away from being Dan Devine, now we’re seeing that. The talent level on this team, other than Rodgers, has been bleeding out since the 16 – 1 year and not being replaced.

    • David Burdette

The defense is the real problem.

      • Mike Charron

That’s half the team ! How about the offensive line ? Rodgers was the most sacked QB in the league last year. This year they are ranked 20th. This is what protects the franchise. What a surprise he is now hurt.

  • David Burdette

So Ray, if Capers was ousted after this game, who would be the replacement?

    • RayRivard

      I would say Winston Moss

      • David Burdette

No nod for Kevin Greene? His passion could really rub off.

        • RayRivard

He would be in contention, but his experience isn’t as great

  • RayRivard

Boykin gets me some fantasy points.

  • Dan Turczynski

    What are you doing Kuhn?

  • RayRivard

Now that’s how you score touchdowns, Eddie Lacy.

  • Dan Turczynski

Wow, Lacy got popped, and finished the run off for the score. That was a man run.

  • David Burdette

Maybe the offense could get some confidence from that and turn it into something. Of course, D has to do more.

  • RayRivard

Now here’s the kicker. The past two weeks, the opposing offense has held the ball for 10 minutes and closed out the game. If it happens for a third straight week, Packers Nation will explode.

  • Dan Turczynski

That’s a big play for the D. One of the few things they’ve gotten right today.

  • RayRivard

Now that was a nice stop. Jones with another sack today. I think that’s four sacks in the past three games …

  • Dan Turczynski

    Lol

  • RayRivard

Well, we can’t blame that one on Dom Capers.

  • RayRivard

Talk about staring down the receiver

  • Mike Charron

Yep, Packers of the 70′s. Where’s John Brockington and Jerry Tagge. Maybe we can trade some draft picks for John Hadl. Where do we sign up for the Matt Flynn fan club?

  • Mike Charron

This team looks pretty pathetic right now. I knew it would struggle mightily without Rodgers but this is brutal. I wonder what we will “get corrected” this coming week?

  • RayRivard

I remember Forrest Gregg’s favorite phrase was getting things “corrected.” Never happened then either

    • Mike Charron

Too funny Ray. Hey thanks for running an honest and enjoyable Blog. I was on the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel blog earlier – what a joke. Tom Silverstein must be paid by the Packer Propaganda Ministry. Guy is living in an alternate reality. I would love to comment on great plays and superb effort but sadly that is not the reality that we have currently. At least on your blog our comments are not policed by the Green Bay Gestapo. Can’t even enter a comment onto the MJS board because it is censored. What’s the point.

      • RayRivard

Thanks, Mike. I like to call it like it is. If the Packers make a great play, fine. If they stink, they need to be called out. BTW, what’s your take on Capers. Does MM and TT finally see the light and put him out of his misery (or ours?)? All I know is if they don’t beat the Vikings heads have to roll. This team is better than that. Yes, the injuries hurt, but that’s just an excuse. Other teams have injuries, too. Hang tight, my friend.

  • RayRivard

Here we go on that patented 10-minute drive by the opposition.

  • RayRivard

Statistics and a quick game review is coming up in a couple of minutes. Three straight losses makes one feel like their living in the 70s or 80s … it’s been years since the Packers have been this ineffective. The team has been severely affected by the loss of the best player in the league and it’s showing badly. Hang in there Packers fans. It can’t get much worse, can it?
