Host Dan Turczynski was joined Tuesday morning on our weekly Packers Sports Panel podcast by fellow Lombardi Ave. staff writers Davey Miller and Kevin Dickens for a look at what’s up with the Green Bay Packers.

If you missed it, we’re reminding you to take a listen today to get ready for tomorrow’s big showdown in Detroit … and not to forget that you can listen to Thursday morning’s pregame podcast at 10 a.m. CST.

They talked about the bizarre tie between the Packers (5-5-1) and the Minnesota Vikings (2-8-1), and also debated the finer points of the NFC North showdown between the Packers and Detroit Lions set to take place on turkey day.

Do the Packers have to win Thursday to have a shot at winning the NFC North Division for the third straight season?

Is Matt Flynn the temporary answer for the Packers at quarterback?

And because we know Flynn has been working with the first team at practice and assume he will be the starter – will he be able to pull off another six TD, 480-yard performance like he did against the Lions back in 2011? We highly doubt it, but if he can simply do more magic like he did last week against Minnesota, we’ll be happy.

In fact, a win would be simple enough.

Those are just some of the topics that were discussed on this most recent edition of the Packers Sports Panel. It’s always a great discussion – yesterday it was led by our own Dan Turczynski.

You can also listen to the show 24/7 – whenever it’s convenient for your schedule.

We appreciate the time you take to listen.

And as always, GO PACK GO!
