All of Green Bay Packers playoff scenarios has GB needing to win all of their remaining 4 games (unless you think the Lions will go 1-3), putting the Packers at 9-6-1 at season’s end.
For the NFC North Division Crown
GB is currently 5-6-1 and if they finish 4-0 their final 4 games this would need to happen…
Detroit is currently 7-5, and would need to go 2-2 the rest of the way to put GB ahead of the Lions.
Chicago is currently 6-5 and if they went 3-2 the rest of the way.
Division: If either Chicago or Detroit lose only 1 game the rest of the way, GB is out regardless if they finished 4-0 (9-6-1).
Wild card: Both the San Francisco 49ers (7-4) and the Arizona Cardinals (7-4) would each need to lose three of their remaining five games and GB would have to go 4-0 to get in as a wild card.
So mathematically the Packers are still in it and now they need to rely on other teams instead of controlling their own fate.
Tough road to hoe, but the toughest part is GB going 4-0! This team is playing like a Division III college team with a first-year head coach.
These remaining four games this season are clearly important, but in the larger scheme of things, there are much bigger concerns from the talent level on the roster to the coaching staff and this ‘fill-your-roster-with-cheap-UDFAs’ philosophy.
