Green Bay Packers: Time to unhook the plow

If Vince Lombardi saw how the Green Bay Packers performed in the month of November, let’s just say he’d be pissed, not unlike most Packers fans at this very moment.

If there was ever a game to win this season, this is it. If you’re anything like me, I’m sure you are fed up with the way the Green Bay Packers have been playing. Much like Minnesota Vikings fans, I’m almost starting to dread Sundays and this is the game where the Packers could restore some faith.

I did not wait 238 days to watch the Green Bay Packers begin a season where they’d go winless in the month of November and set themselves up to be eliminated from playoff contention. I didn’t wait that long to watch them miss tackle after tackle and give up pass after pass. I didn’t wait that long to forget what it feels like to wake up on a Monday after a win. Finally, I didn’t wait that long to watch the softest team in the league frolic around on the most hallowed grounds in football.

The good thing is, however, the Packers have four games left (hopefully more) to show us they can still win. The real Green Bay Packers are somewhere out there so let’s hope they show up to play on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.

It’s time to play some old time Packer football, Green Bay.

One more note – somebody please remind the defense the game time has been switched.
