Louis Nix III - Nose Tackle, Notre Dame, 6-2, 345

Nix may be the first big defensive lineman taken in the first round. If the Packers can’t re-sign B.J. Raji before March, then they may have no choice but to go after Nix in this year’s draft.

Nix fits perfectly as a 3-4 nose tackle. He reminds many of Raji coming out of Boston College in 2009.

Many project Nix to go in the top 15 of the first round, so the Packers may not get a chance to take him. Hopefully, the Packers can get a deal done with Raji and use their first round selection to address another area on the team.

Let’s go for HaSean Clinton- Smith. Safety is such a requirement to improve the defense. What kind of a name is Ha Ha, anyway? It’s too bad we can’t reap all this young talent. Tuitt is a monster much needed to be an impact player. These are my first two choices.

Yeah, I’m with you, Peter. I think both Clinton-Dix and Tuitt would be great fits in the Packers defense. I like the TEs in this draft, but I don’t think Green Bay needs to spend a first round pick on one. I’d like them to go defense in the first round, but that’ll be three years in a row going defense in round one.

Well 3 years in a row and another year without a good defense. I wonder.
