The 2013 Green Bay Packers have the look of those three teams. They are winning critical December games, gaining momentum, and getting healthy. The Aaron Rodgers collarbone saga will drag out for another week. We probably won’t know until Friday if he is playing. The same could be said about Randall Cobb.
The forecast for their return to action looks good however. Rodgers was able to take reps with the first team offense for the first time since his collarbone fracture.
Randall Cobb came off injured reserve last week and could have played, but was not medically cleared.
Mike McCarthy had a press conference today saying Randall Cobb looked very good today in his workout. The Packers will further evaluate him Wednesday.
The Packers are already rolling with moment from their last two comebacks.
Getting Rodgers and Cobb back could arguably make them the most unstoppable team in the NFL right now.
