Coming off of a miraculous, season-changing win in Dallas, the Green Bay Packers have got to be riding an emotional high.
A big win such as that one could be a springboard for bigger things. Green Bay must put the celebration in their rear view mirror and re-focus their attention.
With the Baltimore Ravens providing the necessary win against the Lions for which the Packers and their legions had hoped, this next game against the Pittsburgh Steelers now becomes the most important game of the season. The Steelers will be no slouch as they, too, are mathematically alive in the playoff race.
With or without Aaron Rodgers at the helm, the Packers must win. Securing another win sets up a de facto game against rival the Chicago Bears the final weekend of the season. But before we can look ahead, we must look at the present. The Steelers record may not indicate how good of a team that they are, but let there be no doubt they are a very quality opponent.
