Green Bay Packers: It's a must win at Lambeau

“Listen up,” Green Bay Packers Coach Mike McCarthy bellows as he walks into the locker room.  “Assistant Coach Mrozla has some important words to share with you.”

This is big game, men. We control whether we make the playoffs so we better start playing some Green Bay Packers football.

Defensive unit – You guys have had some bright moments as of late but also some moments where we’ve all wondered if you should even be playing football. Forget those bad times and quit holding on by a thread.  Win the 50/50 balls, jam the receivers at the line, hit em’ and hit em’ hard. Knock that ball out and take away their confidence. On the blitzes, get past your man and hit the quarterback and by golly, get off the field on third downs. You do this and you give us a chance.

Offensive unit – Make the most of first and second downs in order to prevent third and longs. I want to score a touchdown on every trip into the red-zone. Wear down their defense and make them look pedestrian. I want them to look like torn caution tape blowing in the wind. Don’t turn the ball over and make the most of your chances.  If you’re a blocker, use that big body to roll someone. If you’re a receiver and you drop a pass, I will break my foot off in your John Brown hind parts.

Special teams – Let’s find a spark on punt and kick-off returns. You guys haven’t ran one back since the middle-ages.  That changes, now!

Time for perfection!
