What do Zac Efron, Seth Rogen, and Aaron Rodgers have in common?
Nothing … until this week when the promo for the new film “Neighbors,” starring Rogen and Efron came out.
Maybe you’ve already seen it, but if you haven’t click below for a quick look. If you don’t at least smile while watching this, you need to go out and find a sense of humor – or at least become a fan of Aaron Rodgers, the Green Bay Packers and Rogen and Efron.
Rodgers, who gets the last laugh at the conclusion of this promo, is the butt of Rogen’s jokes and misunderstandings. Not only does he recognize him simply as the guy who made the State Farm commercials, but as the guy who uses his fame as an insurance company sales pitchman to become an NFL quarterback.
Efron tries to set Rogen straight, while Rodgers sits speechless through the entirety of the promo – until the end when he gets his last laugh.
Neighbors, the Universal Studios film set to be released May 9, stars Rogen and Efron.
Here is the description of the film as found on IMDB.com:
A couple with a newborn baby face unexpected difficulties after they are forced to live next to a fraternity house.
I guess that kind of explains it all … not.
But even more mysterious is the reason why they have selected to do the promo with Aaron Rodgers. Nowhere in the cast list on IMBD appear. It is, however, an ESPN promo, so I guess they needed an athlete to help sell it. Rodgers is as good as anyone … at least they didn’t bring in Jay Cutler.
In the meantime, check out the promo – it should make you smile.
