Seahawks 17 Packers 10: First half hard hitting, productive

Russell Wilson was nearly perfect and Aaron Rodgers wasn’t far behind as the Seattle Seahawks took a 17-10 lead into halftime of the their NFL regular season opening game Thursday night.

Wilson was 10-of-13 for 121 yards and a touchdown, while Rodgers was 14-of-18 for 86 yards.

Seattle deferred to the Packers on the opening kickoff and after a first down the Packers punted. The Seahawks then moved down for a field goal to take a 3-0 lead.

Green Bay came back after a muffed punt, scoring on a John Kuhn inside handoff and second and third effort. At that point, Green Bay led 7-3.

Seattle continued their offensive attack, scoring in less than three minutes when Ricardo Lockette caught a 33-yard pass from Russell Wilson to take a 10-7 lead

Green Bay tied the game at 10 on a Mason Crosby second quarter field goal before the Seahawks went seven plays for a touchdown to push their lead to 17-10.
