The Green Bay Packers have to determine which of their own free agents to re-sign before free agency begins. Here’s five they should let walk.

Lying ahead for the Green Bay Packers in the coming month are a number of tough decisions. Which free agents should they re-sign and who should be allowed to find another home? Well never fear, Ted Thompson, because I’m hear to help you do your job. Here’s five pending free agents that shouldn’t be brought back to Green Bay.

In the salary cap era, it’s impossible to keep everybody. The Denver Broncos are about to learn how difficult it is to keep their Super Bowl roster together. The Packers boast a much healthier cap, so big names from Green Bay don’t often hit the open market, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t some headaches for Thompson.

The Packers have already re-signed Mike Daniels and Letroy Guion. Daniels was a no-brainer after becoming such a dominant force on defense. Guion’s three-year deal was more surprising, but he’s a player that contributes up front against the run. There will be more signings coming before free agency begins on March 9 — but who should the Packers move on from?
