Through the years the Green Bay Packers have had a knack of annually mining through the vast talent pool of undrafted free agents and coming up with valuable players who have carved out successful careers in the NFL.

These unwanted extras are often players who must stand out immediately once they’re signed since GMs won’t think twice about releasing a rookie they have next to nothing invested in and who many fans have never even heard of.

While these UDFAs occasionally earn a starting role, they are typically year-to-year players who need to fight, scratch and claw to prove that they are more deserving of a roster spot then the latest shiny, new draft pick who’s trying to replace them.

Green Bay has had so many UDFA success stories that instead of featuring a top 10 rundown of past and present longshots, I opted to roll off 15 names that have graced Packer diehards with performances that will be forever ingrained in the rich history of one the world’s most storied sports franchises.
