It appears the Green Bay Packers are targeting two Brigham Young University players – a lanky wide receiver and a very tall defensive linemen.

Being reported today on Twitter that the Packers have set up visits with these two players brings about an interesting discussion on the never-ending efforts of Ted Thompson to bring in players who may be rising the draft boards around the league, but may be off the radar of the experts projecting mock drafts.

So, just who are these guys and why the interest by the Green Bay Packers?

Well, we can understand the need for the Packers to bring in as many defensive linemen as they can and one can also probably understand the thinking of Thompson in targeting wide receivers as he continues to try to replenish the talent at that position … after all, Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb won’t be around forever.
