This is the third of a seven-part series. We continue the Lombardi Ave Packers mock draft with the writers’ third-round selections.

You can find the previous selections here: Round 1, Round 2.

Up next on the Lombardi Ave mock draft is the third round. So far, there has been differing opinions on who the Green Bay Packers will select in the opening two rounds. Will any of the writers be in agreement in the third?

Getting help on defense has been a priority. In the second round, linebackers Joshua Perry and Deion Jones were among the selections for the Packers, as well as cornerback Artie Burns and defensive tackle Austin Johnson. Will the attention switch to offense in this round, or is defense still the top priority?

With GM Ted Thompson, you just never know what he might do next. Despite that, we’re going to continue to try and predict his moves in the 2016 NFL Draft. We move onto the final round on day two. Last year the Packers surprised everyone by taking wide receiver Ty Montgomery out of Stanford.

Who will it be this year? Let’s continue the Lombardi Ave mock draft.
