This is the sixth of a seven-part series. We continue the Lombardi Ave Packers mock draft with the writers’ sixth-round selections.

You can find the previous selections here: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, Round 4, Round 5.

The one thing this mock draft has provided is variety. Very rarely have the Lombardi Ave writers made the same pick, which highlights the many possibilities Green Bay Packers general manager Ted Thompson is faced with over the three-day event in Chicago this week.

What we know is that the Packers need help at inside linebacker, defensive tackle and tight end. An outside linebacker, running back and wide receiver would also help. What we don’t know is how Thompson plans to address these areas, if at all. If the season started tomorrow, Green Bay would be in good shape, which means taking the best player available regardless of position could just as easily happen.

Who will the Packers take in the sixth round? A year ago, they spent their three sixth-round selections on fullback Aaron Ripkowski, defensive end Christian Ringo and tight end Kennard Backman. Who will they go for this time around? Here’s the Lombardi Ave projections.
