Entering day three of free agency, which players could help the Green Bay Packers at their biggest positions of need?

Millions of dollars continue to fly around the league, and the Packers themselves got involved in the action by bringing in tight end Martellus Bennett to a three-year deal. Without saying I called it, I, uh, called it.

What’s more rare than Ted Thompson making a free agency splash? Thompson making two splashes. But that’s not to say it won’t happen if the right deal doesn’t present itself.

As negotiations with Jared Cook broke down, Thompson was proactive and went out to sign the best tight end on the market. He could do the same if the market drops at other positions of need.

Green Bay still needs help at cornerback, outside and inside linebacker, running back and possibly defensive tackle. So pretty much the entire defense. Got it.
