Gregg Jennings says Aaron Rodgers is better than Brett Favre.

Putting Greg Jennings on the spot this week, ESPN radio asked the question that so many of us are curious about:

Who is better? Brett Favre or Aaron Rodgers?

Because Jennings has played with Rodgers for the past four years and spent his first two years catching balls from Brett Favre, there probably isn’t another player, aside from Donald Driver, who would know better.

Jennings fielded the question and answered honestly. For that, we are thankful. He could have given the politically correct answer and provided us with cliches, but he didn’t. We like that.

Here’s what the Packers wide receiver had to say:

“They both bring different things to the table, but, honestly, right now, I definitely have to go with — you can’t take away what Brett has done – but I am gonna go with Aaron,” Jennings said.

Clearly, it’s been something that he’s been thinking about through the years because his reasoning was concise and well-developed.

“His [Rodgers'] body of work at such a young age, his attention to detail, his discipline, I think it’s really second to none and I think it’s unparalleled,” he said. “And you haven’t really found a quarterback that has done it the way he’s done it. You have the young guys that are coming out and they’re making a huge impact in this game.”
