Well, both the Packers and 49ers will have much to say by the time this game ends around 10 p.m. CDT and it won’t only be in the form of words – it will be in the form of actions that will be added to the rich history that has developed between these two storied National Football League franchises.

The two teams met in the 2012 season opener at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, with the 49ers outlasting the Packers in a 30-22 win.

Much has occurred since that warm September day. There have been injuries, tough losses, changes in quarterbacks and a full season of memories for both teams – evenly matched teams that will put it all on the line.

The loser goes home. The winner advances to the NFC Championship set to be played next weekend. The winner will take on the winner of the Seattle Seahawks at Atlanta Falcons matchup this weekend.

The stage is set. Now the play is set in motion.
