It’s been a day since the Green Bay Packers went into Reliant Stadium in Houston Texas and reinvented themselves from that persona that had developed early in the season of a team in free fall.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers not only brought this team back to the table of championship discussion, but they are now eating a full meal, instead of the crow we all would have been devouring had the Packers lost.

The thing is, the Packers not only defeated the previously unbeaten and highly touted Houston Texans – they destroyed them – on their own turf. The Packers showed that they are not only one of the best teams in the NFC North, but one of the best in all of the league.

If there was one bad thing that occurred Sunday night, it was the rash of injuries that hit the team: Nick Perry, D.J. Smith, Sam Shields, and Brandon Saine all went down. We now know that Smith and Saine are gone for the year. How that all plays out remains to be seen, but we’re not immune to this type of situation. In fact, it’s the norm in this leave and something all 31 franchises face.

How the team pulls together and moves forward is most important. The Packers did it back in 2010 and won a Super Bowl championship, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility.
