It’s being called “The Better half,” but it’s far from the foul-mouthed, trashy wives shows that you might be familiar with – you know the ones I’m talking about.

This new series that is set to debut this fall, is described more a wholesome family entertainment series that will feature a few of the wives of Green Bay Packers players - Bettina Driver, Molly Crosby, Greata Bishop, Lura Hawk, Tomika Jones and Courtney Finley  are some who will probably appear on the show, though the exact schedule has not been set.

It’s being filmed at WLUK-TV in Green Bay and being produced by Lammi Sports Management, whose clients include Donald Driver.

It is scheduled to air Fridays at 1 p.m. on WITI-TV (Channel 6) starting Sept. 14 and continue through Dec. 28. It is expected to also be distributed statewide.

It’s described as “a wholesome, quality look at family, community, charity, cooking, fashion and health & wellness. The content will include recipes, health tips, ‘family secrets,’ charities, crafting pointers and holiday tips.

Whether the husbands and other members of each of the wives’ families will make appearances is unclear. I guess you just have to stay tuned to find out.

The two-day event is June 10^th-11^th at Ashwaubenon High School. Day 1 is from 1:00PM-4:30PM and Day 2 is from 9:00AM-12:30PM.

Matthews will be on site the entire camp to direct camp activities and provide instruction. He will be joined by a selection of the top prep and college coaches from the Green Bay area.

The camp is open to boys and girls ages 7 to 14 and focuses on the team concept and fundamentals of football. Groups will be small to ensure that each camper gets personalized instruction. Matthews will also give daily talks highlighting the finer points of the game of football and beyond.

Each camper receives an autographed camp team photo with Matthews, exclusive camp T-shirt, goodie bag with over $145 worth of merchandise, and the opportunity to win additional prizes. Cost of the ProCamp is $199.

Those interested in attending this camp will find that Matthews himself will be on hand, in addition to a select group of other coaches, to provide instruction.
