– Wide Receiver –

Usually I start this segment with praise for Jordy Nelson, that won’t be happening this week. When things go from bad to worse, that describes Nelson’s game.

Luckily, it’s a new week and Jordy normally bounces back strong from less than desirable performances.

Randall Cobb had 111 yards on 9 total touches, which saw Cobb get some action out of the backfield as well. Cobb was the only consistent receiver to get in the mix last season.

This week they have the opportunity to bounce back when they take on the 27th rated secondary. The Buccaneers have allowed at least one touchdown in 7 of the last 8 games to a receiver.

Look for both Cobb and Nelson to exploit the less than adequate secondary. I also think Rodgers will try to get Adams involved a little bit since his production has been dipping as of late.

Expect big things.
