Head coach Mike McCarthy is trying to get a handle on his team’s injuries.
The Green Bay Packers returned to the field on Saturday for the first time since the teams 22-11 victory over the New England Patriots. Head Coach Mike McCarthy addressed the media as a whole talking about looking at the film from Thursday nights game:
“I would say consistent with prior years, there’s always things fundamentally you can improve on. Mistakes made are things you can correct. We didn’t have big major mistakes that way. Way too many mental errors. We’re actually a little bit better in that area. It was a productive day. Work we were able to get done was what you’re looking for in the preseason.”
Although the Packers are not practicing today, they will be back on the field tomorrow for practice to start preparing for the Pittsburgh Steelers their second preseason contest of 2015. While we are at the mid point of August, position battles will continue to heat up more and more so today, Lombardi Ave gives you five position battles to heavily follow this week going into Pittsburgh.
